on the catwalk-
I'm gathering materials, schedules, photos, etc for modeling.  That's right, my ugly mug is going into art. Models make good money, be it photography, life-drawing, etc. It'd be a good way to help with the bills, and it'll give me an opportunity to travel with some frequency to NY and start to physically learn the city.
...yeah, i'm nervous too. :}

*yawn*
Sundays... *yawn* make me sleepy.
...well, the [Testuda] sculpture is done. Just trying to get it transported back to campus.  I'm also in agreement with Hawk over at [applegeeks] in that the comic looks great colored.  Those two (can't forget Ananth [and really, how can you misspell his name? It's on the front page 4 times!]) are some seriously talented people. I hope to be like them when i grow up.  ;]

I'm working on a small strip for the next Edo:2k5. It's inspired from the subway sketch that's up now. The idea of art ninjas has been slowly tumbling in my head like so much polishing stones.  Part of my art is the design of it. For example: Edo and the other ninjas use a small hidden single shot pistol thing -you'll see a bit of it in the strip- and in my head atleast, it's a real, functioning design. If i had the parts (and wasn't so lazy) i could make my own. i tend to do that with most everything i imagine. Somehow, it just makes the infinite possibilities of art more... well possible.  And i think maybe, it's that blind devotion to art and the idealism that comes with it, that keeps tripping me up. But y'know... I've never felt better. :}

New Shirt!
I couldn't help but have an opinion on the immigration issue before our media today:

GROW UP.    They're human beings, remember? Treat them well. Do the right thing. Consider /why/ they're here. Give them the justice they snuck across to believe in.

Taxes, Books and other Paperworks:
The City Limits project is nearly here!  It'll hit the printers in mid-May, so reserve your copy while you can!  Check out the link at the top of the page for more info!

Taxes... Suck. But, some of my puppy clients are accountants, and i'm sure that knowledge comes to me by osmosis. Somehow. I'm trying to catch up on art, really. I've got a ton of it on paper, but I haven't had the chance to put it up online. *gah* When will we have ghost-in-the-shell type interfaces? Imagine the growth curve if we had the near complete real-time interaction like that.   Gives me a headache just thinking about it. Xp

Bite The Big Apple:
The journey begins -
I'm starting up the giant lumbering machine that is me relocating to New York City.  I don't have a place to live yet, but I'm sending out resumes, contact letters, and networking the heck out of Craigslist and other sources up in NY.  If I intend to thrive, I've gotta get ready.
Can I handle it? Can it handle me? Stay tuned!!!!

I need your help:
Being a starving-artist isn't all it's cracked up to be. Especially this time of year.  So here's what's up:
I owe $1227 in federal taxes. i just don't have the money. I've been clawing and scratching by, but there's been NONE left over for The Man.  So i'm begging for help.... Please click on the donation button and drop me some change. $5 here, $10 there makes a difference. Really.   I can't thank you enough for any help you can offer.  If you'd like to talk to me in person about it, send me an email.
