Black & White
I'm making the Edo:2k5 comic black and white for a while, cause i need to get the story out more than I need to make it colorful.
I don't have time, really, as much as i'd like to. If i could afford to do it fulltime, i would. Instead, i'm saving for a
notebook computer so i can do it between runs on the new driving gig.
It's a sweet-sweet job. Thanks Chris for taking me
on!
I'm asking for/holding a donation drive cause it costs more money than i have to keep the site(s) up and running.
SO...
If you like what you see, if you like what i do and you believe in supporting your local artist, click on the
donation button at the bottom of the page and drop me a dime or two. Believe me when i say, Every little bit helps. I'm not
kidding, it really does.
Edo chess pieces are done, and the playing board will be forthcoming. I'm also working on
a couple comission pieces, private sales, etc. I'm aiming to have a showing this winter sometime (i know, i said that last
year too, but i've actually got some pieces to start with, and if i keep at this rate, i might just have enough for
a real show. :}
Here's hoping!
Thanks to everyone at my new job who's been so supportive and friendly in welcoming
me to my new route. :}

Welcome Aboard!
I swear i'm still alive and kicking. Just really, really busy with the whole new-job-thing. It's a sweet, sweet gig that
gives me the time to work on art (or study) in 15 min chunks throughout the day, while providing a nice comfy service to the
cool cats at the museum. Sofar, all nice people. Still flinging heavy boxes once in a while (that's a LOT of Xerox paper,
Joe!) but as long as i'm on time, it's all good.
As i get used to the schedule, art WILL be forthcoming. I'm inking
Edo #29, have 2 editorial cartoons for the
S.P.L.C. to start/finish (i swear i'll have 'em done by the 28th, Evan!) and other stuff like Edo's Chess Board.
After a couple
paychecks, i've got a mancala board in my head rolling around. Why all the games, as it were? I like art i can interact
with and share with others.
and if ya' don't know, now ya' know...

dodge-weave
I had a wonderful interview on Friday with a new company. It would be a sweet gig, driving a shuttle from the Holocaust
Museum to the metro and back. Yes, Mr. B, I really do want that position. :}
In the works are some other art-type-projects.
For auction:
I've got Edo:2k5 chess/checker boards coming out.
The Oni-mask playing cards... just look dumb. I need to do more research on them before I make another attempt.
But the next attempt, i think will be physical and sculptural. I may need to enlist the help of some actual Oni.
Or atleast cook up a useful Chimera.
George Forman Alchemy go!
