I've been quietly busy at work and lazily un-busy at home as of late. I haven't been terribly inspired, atleast for the usual
art-related stuff. I've got a new messenger bag in the works, a pair of large-scale painting designs, and even maybe a new
tattoo or two.
My day-job is moving to a new office just a little further away, spurring my dire need of a set of
wheels. I believe it's time to have an all-out art sale, but I have to prep a few pieces first.
Anyone with a camera
want to trade some documentation photos of my art for, say, some noodles and my gratitude? You know there's going to be some
'live, internet web-cast' of whatever show & sale i decide to do. So i've got to get tons and tons of photos up of the
work i've got. ;p
I hope and pray that - if i work at it - this winter will bring about some changes and a good start
for next year.
Peace.
[SPWUG]an art/lit/geekdom mag and blog run by a wonderful friend and colleague, Katy. It's very cool, and may even feature me
in a sketchbook saturday, occasional blog or rant, etc. GO KATY!! *WOO!*
The tattoo at the top of the page is a commissioned
piece that will hopefully be ...installed? applied? attached? to a kindly patron. I've got another ink set in the works-
some Gaelic for a fellow commuter.
Also, i've got two cartoons going into a magazine (hopefully), and another
[SPLC-REPORT] issue's worth of editorial cartoons in the works.
In conversations with other artists, i've sought advice on how to
present my work professionally, how to charge, herding, tending and feeding of patronage - all things to help make
art
more of my job than my job is... my job. *kaff*

[http://rawstory.com//news/2007/Jailed_protesters_say_police_response_designed_0907.html]This video makes me *really* angry. Lady Liberty has really fallen off her pedestal, hasn't she?
i know
I didn't vote for this.
Did you?
