'Scuse me while i compose myself:
I'm sitting at home, listening to some cool beats off [pandora] and working on re-organizing my web store over on [Cafepress]. It's a little gray and gloomy outside, cool breezes and cold raindrops make themselves known without taking over
the scene. Impending implosions moving up to Michigan roll around in the back of my head in quiet Sisyphusian splendor.
These moments of calm belittle the storm surrounding this National Capital beltway.
I look forward to stepping
outside this safety net like stepping on a plane - safer than a rushour roadside, hoping my career won't bomb. When
I'm out hunting the next great Adventure, I don't know who's going to be looking out for me, so I have to become
my own improvised exposure device. I don't want to swim upstream against current events, but 'till that tide turns,
I'm going to be on your rooftop, stop-watching and timing your demise.
The Man kept telling me "Knowledge
is Power", but wouldn't show me how to hot-wire the forklift holding these stumbling blocks in my way. I can't
say it's Him holding me back since there's no way around it. Until I pull through, I'm going back to school
and equip myself with some armor piercing words. For if the pen is mightier than the swords, then my brush will take
off the heads of Babylon.
I just hope my art opens some eyes, sheds light on the lies and keeps me and mine from going
hungry.

Let's Go... Somebody!
I'm sitting in the living room of the Lunnderdome, watching the NCAA tournament with two of my housemates.
We've all got our brackets (mine is screwed already) and it's almost late enough to break out the drinking games.
One of us took off work today to watch the games.
Don't worry, it wasn't me.
I love March
Madness. I love it. College basketball is one of my favorite things. The camaraderie, the showmanship, the crazy
athleticism, the only seasonal religion: Bracketology.
...and now the most mournful yowls are coming from my bathroom
as one of my housemates tries to wash her overweight tabby, Scout.

The Webstore is back on track! Abandoned and forgotten in the dusty depths of the internet, Ill [technically
speaking] is open once again!

You want commissions? Call me the Comish!
(please don't sue)
In the last couple of days, I have seen the collapse
of banks, peaceful protests, and rational discourse on whom should be elected President of this fine nation. I can't say
enough, how uncomfortable this makes me. I hope to make these concerns more clear, citing the articles
and news sources I've been reading and keeping up with. In the near future, look for an actual, thought-out blog
posting on these current events, and others around the world. I promise to even spell-check!
I've
been commissioned to make a double-dream catcher for a dear friend and her husband. With that, I hope to put up a few
more designs in the Cafe Press store, as well.

Gallery Rennovation:
The St. Thomas paintings have been finished and delivered, putting an ending on a fun series!
Check out the scans
of the paintings at the top of the page, or in the newly-organized gallery. I have changed things a bit to sort out
the different types of illustrations/paintings archived there. Now in categories of PEN/INK, DIGITAL COLOR, PAINTINGS,
and 100% DIGITAL, the layout should make a little more sense as to what's what. Also, the homes of some paintings,
IE: [in private collection], are now clear.
In an effort to get my collection cataloged and compiled, would anyone
out there to whom I have given art in the past please contact me? I would like a close-up photograph of what I have
given you. It doesn't have to be super-fancy or the best quality image, just an archival photo so I can say, "Yeah,
i made that, too!"
As always, donations are GREATLY appreceated. Please use the PAYPAL button at the
bottom of the page - quick, easy and secure! As a thank-you, I'll send you some special art for your desktop, office
or bird-cage-liner!

Watercolors Finished!
I just finished the 4th and final watercolor in the 4 part series of the [Maison Flamboyant] in St. Thomas, USVI.
I can't wait to see them framed, and I hope to some
day see them hanging in the villa itself...
..y'know, when i own the place. ;]
