Unstrung Harpist presents
GENESIS by Evan Crump

Human or Angel? Convict or Saint? Insane or Divine?

Presented at the Warehouse Theater, award-winning Genesis is the story of a man who believes himself to be a fallen angel, and is imprisoned in a mental institution as a result. Genesis explores the fine line between faith and delusion, raises the tough questions at the core of the Christian religion, and points out society’s willful ignorance of the mentally ill so as to avoid the moral quandaries their treatment raises.

Genesis was first presented as part of the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival, where it was voted Best Drama.

.

During the first run at the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival, DC Theatre Scene gave it 5 stars! Read the review here!
